Amber D. Krotky

Amber D. Krotky, MS, PAS, currently serves as Quality and Product Development Manager at MARS Horsecare US Inc (BUCKEYE™ Nutrition) in Dalton, Ohio. She currently sits on the AFIA Equine Committee and the Ethics Committee for American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS). She earned her BS in Animal Sciences in 1999 and her MS in Animal Sciences-Equine Nutrition in 2002 from Oklahoma State University. Her graduate work focused on varying levels of calcium in yearling horses and has helped deepen her love of growing horses and broodmare nutrition. Being raised in Eastern Oklahoma helped to cultivate her love for horses, cattle and the way of life associated with farming and ranching. Amber has been involved in agriculture and the horse industry for over 35 years. She's shown All-Around and Reining horses on state and national levels with APHA, AQHA, PHBA and 4-H. When she's not talking about nutrition or horses, Amber enjoys volunteering in the community and serves as a committee member for the Tough Enough To Wear Pink Horse Show, which has raised more than $750,000 in patient assistance for the OhioHealth Foundation to support cancer patients and their families. She also is secretary of the American Youth Horse Council Board of Directors, judges horse shows across the country and supports local, state and national 4-H horse programs and events, and various breed organizations.

Bryan Cassill

Bryan Cassill grew up in Southern Ohio where he and his family bred, raised and exhibited Quarter Horses. He attended college at The Ohio State University (B.S. in Agriculture). During college he was a member of The Ohio State University Horse Judging Team and continued to judge 4-H and Open Horse Shows in KY and OH. After marrying his wife, Heather, the two moved to Kentucky to attend the University of Kentucky. Bryan earned his M.S. in Equine Nutrition under the guidance of Dr. Laurie Lawrence. After finishing his M.S. Degree, he was hired as the University of Kentucky’s Animal Resource Manager for the Animal Science Horse Farm. He managed all aspects of the Thoroughbred Farm, Class Instructor and Mentor to UK Students developing into industry professionals. After the birth of his son, Bryson, he decided to pursue and earn a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). Bryan was President of the KY Thoroughbred Farm Managers’ Club (KTFMC) prior to his move back to Ohio. In 2018, Bryan accepted a position for MARS Horsecare US Inc (Buckeye Nutrition) and is currently the Commercial and Formulation Manager.
